What Happens When You Call 988

  • Trained counselors available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • Confidential support for suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, substance use crisis, or any behavioral health emergency

  • Local follow-up and connection to KRCC services when needed

Communication Access

Kentucky River Community Care is committed to providing effective communication for everyone we serve.

If you are Deaf, hard of hearing, or have limited English proficiency, we will provide the communication support you need at no cost to you.

This includes:

  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters
  • Video Relay Service
  • Language interpretation services
  • Other auxiliary aids and services as needed

When contacting our 24-hour Crisis Line or 988, please let us know your communication preferences so we can assist you appropriately.
