Autism Specialty Screening

As a parent, you never want to believe that your child may be struggling. But with Autism, catching it early can make all the difference.

No matter the child's age, we can help! We want to partner with you to help your child learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Services

Crisis Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for adults and children. Children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.

Orientation

Each family is assigned a Community Support Associate for the day, who will act as a guide to locations inside the clinic and explains the day's schedule and activities.

Snacks and lunch will be provided.

What to Expect

The initial screening includes a comprehensive individual evaluation consisting of:

  • A complete physical exam by a nurse practitioner
  • Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) by a psychologist/therapist.
  • Functional assessment of cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor function by an occupational therapist.

Follow Up

At day's end, each family will receive a summary of their findings, including a packet of info on their child and recommendations for further services, evaluations, and any additional testing.
