Since 2007, we have developed several apartment complexes throughout multiple counties.

A 17-unit apartment building in Breathitt County that provides independent living for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, who have the skills necessary to live independently and require limited assistance with daily living skills.

The KRCC Rental Assistance Program works with individuals and families with housing needs in Breathitt, Knott, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Owsley, Perry, or Wolfe County. These needs can range from keeping power on in an elderly person’s home to placing a homeless family in an affordable rental unit. KRCC aims to prevent and end chronic homelessness.

Kentucky River Community Care, Inc. manages over 200 rental units in the Kentucky River Region. All of our residential communities are surrounded by scenic mountain views, and most of our apartments are conveniently located within walking distance of businesses, services, and recreation such as grocery stores, shopping areas, doctor’s offices, parks, schools, social services, churches, restaurants, literacy programs, libraries, banks, and pharmacies.
